EEA Nationals and Universal Credit (EL22EEA)


Description
This course is designed for those housing workers and advisers who would like a deeper understanding of the rules governing which EEA Nationals (and certain family members) can claim Universal Credit following Brexit and the introduction of the EU Settlement Scheme.

Learners will investigate which EEA Nationals can claim UC under the new rules - in particular how it works for EEA Nationals with Pre-Settled Status. It will highlight some of the problems EEA Nationals/family members can run into when claiming UC - including the issue of providing evidence.

Learners will gain the confidence they need to ask the right questions and to advise claimants appropriately........

With a final quiz at the end so you can test yourself on what you have learned.

A basic knowledge of Universal Credit is assumed.
